Summary

With our new release we offer new quality of life features and a new feature related to the Picklist Robot while taking the quality of Produmex WMS to the next level. We encourage our partners and customers to upgrade to this version as soon as possible.

Quality of Life

1. Copy Sales Employee data

When you complete the picking process on the Mobile Client and performing shipping, the Sales Employee data of the Sales Order line and the A/R Reserve Invoice line are copied to the Delivery document line. The data is also copied with consolidated picking.

2. Production Flow: lined-up locations

Previous behaviour:

The Select the Location to be Lined Up screen showed all the possible lined-up locations for the given production line.

New behaviour:

The Select the Location to be Lined Up screen shows those lined-up locations where the given component is stored.

3. Production: generated documents

Previous behaviour:
When you were producing by-products with the Production Flow or the Receipt from Production Flow, the system created a receipt for production document for the by-product and issue for production documents for material items which are on lined-up location with direct consumption setting.

New behaviour:

When you produce by-products with the Production Flow or the Receipt from Production Flow, the system creates only a receipt for production document for the by-product and no other documents.

When you produce the main product, the system creates a receipt for production document for the main product and issue for production documents for material items which are on lined-up location with direct consumption setting.

Example: There is a production order with two rows. The ITEM0001 is the material item which is on a lined up location with direct consumption, and the ITEM0002 is the by-product (its Base Quantity is negative).

We have produced a by-product and a main product twice. Now the relationship map of the production order shows that the system has created:

two receipts for the by-product (ITEM0002)
two receipts for the main product (PROD001)
two issues for the raw material (ITEM0001)

4. Moving packed logistic units

Previous behaviour:
An already packed logistic unit cannot be moved with a move order.

New behaviour:
With the Move Order flow on the Mobile Client, it is possible to move an already packed logistic unit with a move order.

- The Select Move Order screen lists the move order of the packed logistic unit and on the Identify the SSCC to Move screen you can scan the packed logistic unit.
- On the Scan Destination Location or SSCC screen the New SSCC button is hidden, it is not possible to create a new logistic unit.
- During the flow, the move order becomes locked and the system is doing an ad hoc move. With the end of the flow, the base type of the move lines is the move instead of the move order.

Grouping picklists with Picklist Robot

With the Picklist Robot now it is possible to maximize the number of picklists of a given type that can be grouped into the same wave. The Picklist Robot groups picklists with status Not Ready and after they are grouped, their status does not change.

The Produmex Picklist Type User Defined Table has got the Num of PL per Wave column. In this column you can indicate the maximum number of picklists of the given type that has to be grouped into the same wave.

Crystal Reports

From product version 2022.04, Produmex WMS supports Crystal Reports Runtime 13.0.25 and higher. When upgrading, you can uninstall Crystal Reports VS 2008 that was required previously.
