The position of Inspect in the product value chain is highlighted by an orange frame above. Inspect consists of two components, one designed for inspection managers, the other for shop floor operators. Accordingly, Inspect / Manager enables quality managers to plan, automate and delegate work to inspectors on the shop floor, whereas its counterpart, Inspect / Operator, offers a smart overview of upcoming work to inspectors (operators) working on the shop floor.

Inspect helps you perform quality checks at different points of your production process. If your ERP system is Business Central, it supports inspections before and after production. These processes can be automated, using newly detected documents in your ERP system to trigger the creation of inspection orders.

Thus, Inspect / Manager can generate

  • Goods receipt and
  • Production receipt

inspection orders automatically.

Inspect / Operator offers a smart overview of upcoming work to inspectors (operators) working on the shop floor. It enables the paperless processing of inspection steps and completion of inspection orders.

Below, you can see the main steps of the typical Inspect / Operator workflow.
