With our new release we offer a feature regarding changing the shipping type after the completion of the packing flow - with additional fields on the packing thin client.

Changing shipping types on the thin client

With selecting the 'Allow changing shipping type for Logistic Unit' option on the packing controller, it enables selecting the shipping type (it doesn't matter if manual or autoshipping) when a logistic unit is completed at the packing flow. This is especially useful for customers that get to know the carrier at the end of its sales cycle. When the setting is off, shipping types are only configurable at the base documents: Sales Orders, A/R Invoices or Inventory Transfer Requests. Enabling this option results in an addition of a new header area on the touch client to select between manual and auto shipping types before finishing the logistic unit.
