Is it possible to add a column in a system matrix without adding the user defined field via B1UP?
RespondidaHi,
We recently purchased B1UP for our SAP B1 and we are trying to use it to do some customization instead of our in-house add-on. One recent request is we want to add a customized column in Incoming Payment's system matrix. Because this column is just to display a UDF value from OINV table depends on some criteria of the BP in this invoice if the document row is a AR invoice type. Is it possible in B1UP?
Thanks,
Lan

Hi Lan,
Unfortunately, you cannot add customized columns with B1UP. You would need to use SAP's own UDF creation tools for that. As for filling the column with data, you can use different combinations of validation, macro, and line loop to that.

Line Loop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsgZmz-XE7UBest regards,

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for the confirmation. Actually adding a UDF in the item line is my last option. :(. But for some form like Account Balance, I guess since there is no physical table links to it then there is no way to do it? How about using SAP B1 UI API via add-on?
Thanks,
Lan
