Issue In Planning

Hello Experts, We are facing the following problem with our beas implementation. The customer's products can be manufactured on 2 production lines that are completely different. An Full automated line A, and a Manual line B. If it is decided to produce on any of them, it will require completely different BOM. So we used the "Item Versions" to represent the 2 ways of production. Each version will have its own BOM and Routing. Now putting all the products in an MRP process, the customer wants the system to select which version to be used in execution based on the Resource and material availability. How can we achieve this?
