@MYOWNSTORE as opposed to @STORE1

I was looking at a macro created by someone else. In the macro, there is this line: 

@STORE1 = @GetARItemMatrix 

This stores the number of rows in the matrix on the sales order form in @STORE1. I tested it by making a new macro that is messagebox(@GetARItemMatrix) and it works. 

I could not figure out how this is achieved, nor could I find any documentation on this. 

Anybody knows how this is done?
