beas MRP - support for variable purchase leadtimes

Hi,

Instead of having one unchanging lead-time, our customer would like to have a lead-time that varies based on the item version status. This is because inspection times vary based on status. I can write the query to pull the status from the item master and generate the right number of days - I'd like to put that into the MRP Wizard so beas uses the custom query instead of pulling it from the item master. Any idea if that is possible? Failing that we could attach it to the order recommendation screen - but again only if the query based date would be used in all scenarios i.e. pre-assign, manual order entry  etc.... Any ideas greatly received.

  Hi Phil,

  if this are order related assemblies, then you can change the lead-time in the routing position (by formula or own routing list...) or do you speak about purchase items?

  Current it's not possible to change this via customizing. It's more a feature request.
