Mass change of Item in BOM

Hello,

Can someone provide a guide if we wanted to replace an item in a BOM (need to delete the old and change with new one)? Since it affects a lot of BOM it should be a mass update.  Is there a upload template for this?  or can it be simple done on BEAS module?
