manage standard sap bin locations in Beas 9.3 PL2 and reservations

I’m testing new beas 9.3. PL2  which supports sap bin locations

I have some qustions regarding reservations:

Is it possible to "guide" the "all preallocate" function with bin location's selections?

 

Scenario:

In reservation’s window  reservation are created with the new information of the  standard sap bin location.

 

1) what about old reservations without bin information? whow are they seen by beas?

2)  in all preallocate, system seems to use the first sap-bin according with free stock using OBIN.AbsEntry order:

Is it correct?

 

In my case the first bin with free stock is the one with AbsEntry=4 but there could be some more stock in other locations with bigger AbsEntry

 

3) How is it possible to exclude a particular SapBinLocation ( OBIN.AbsEntry)? ( or a group)?

 

In my scenario I would like to exclude all sap-bin locations with a special sap attribute

Y=exclude

I think it could be very important and useful

  Hi,

  1. You've only one solution:
  Go to reservation window and delete all old Reservations from SAP Bin Warehouse
  It take more time to modify all with correct Bin Location

   

  2. Current no sorting. MSSQL server use AbsEntry, HANA is random

   

  3. Current this is not possible.
