B1UP SQL report launch from line level and take Itemcode as parameter
RespondidaHello Everyone,
i am new in the world of B1UP, and experimenting on an SQL report that can be launched from the Order Recommendation screen from line level.
I want to replace a formatted search with the SQL report.
The report has the current row Itemcode as an input parameter, and i would like to achive it to take this input parameter as the formatted search does.
My question is can i somehow pass the current line itemcode to the SQL Report, and somehow trigger the SQL report by for example double clicking on the Itemcode filed?
I have the query and placed a Function Button on the Order recommendation screen. That works fine but it only takes the first row of the matrix as the input parameter not the current row.
If the user community or the Support can share some idea that would be much appriciated.
Thank you.

Hello Otto,
You can try to use the extended Dynamic Syntax from Boyum and send the parameter of the focused or selected line.
This is one example I use to open a report in a Sales Order with a double-click on the Item Code.

The following guide explains more about this extended Sytax:

Hello Yaremi,
thank you for the answer. A FOCUSED option is working fine, thanks for the link as well.
You mentioned it is possible to call the SQL report by double click? I could only have it triggered via a button, can you please share some idea, example on this double click action?
I have checked this tutorial but it is not covering the double click, or alternative ways of calling up and SQL report UF.

Thank you.

Hello Otto,
It's because you create this with the B1 Validation System, which is another module that allows you to execute Universal Functions.
This is the eLearning video list for this module.
