Batch / Distribution journal of transaction

I would really like to be able to see a listing of all inventory transaction including the batch number. I can use the stock SAP inventory audit report to do queries with their parameters, but when trying to do mass data analysis, it would be very helpful to have access to the complete data sets in a flat file format.
