    Thank you for your request.
The development team have now added it to our internal planning-system for evaluation.

Quick Copy in recent releases (9.3 PL06 and higher) handles this pretty well.  Would be very nice to also have in B1UP, but doesn't get my vote for high priority since QC is an easy work-around.

Quick copy does not seem to handle copying of User Group Authorizations from one database to another. The groups are not visible in the drop down of QC, only users are visible.

It would be very useful to have the complete functionality in Boyum Authorization Manager itself.

Not saying it might not happen in the future, but currently SAP have not exposed the UserGroup System to the SAP SDK, so right here and now this is not possible; even with custom code :-(

So marked as "Not Planned", but will be re-evaluated if SAP add the needed support.

    Hi Ajay,

User Groups (previously Authorization Groups) are under Admin --> Setup --> General on QC's left panel.

(I first looked for the authorization groups under System Initialization, but they were moved when authorization groups were merged into User Groups.)

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for your suggestion, I found Authorization Groups there.

However, when I try to select the Groups, and then try to copy their Authorizations, only the 'Additional Authorization Creator' and the 'Query Authorization Groups' are available for selection. The actual Authorization trees for the individual User Groups are not available for selection in QC.

I would like to be able to copy a users authorisations to an authorisation group.

Where customers have been using SAP for a while (before there were groups) the authorisations become very messy, but it is a lot of work to create new groups and assign all the authorisations - especially where you have 60+ users.

It would be good to be able to copy a user you know is almost right to a group, then make a few adjustments & assign other users to the group.
