How to email a .csv query result file to a specific recipient on a weekly basis in B1 UP and B1P&D

Hello,

a customer of mine has the following requisite:

send the result of a query via email as a .csv attachment on a weekly basis. He would like this to be fully automated.

I know I can export a query in .csv via UFFE, schedule an email send via B1P&D, but I don't know how to make the scheduler to pick up the query file.

I was also thinking of scheduling an email action that attaches a crystal report as a .csv format, create a mass delivery for it and schedule it, all within B1P&D. Would this be a better way? Looks simpler to me.

  Hi Luca - did you ever sort this?  We use an Excel spreadsheet with ODBC link to gather the required data, then run a script with the task scheduler to email the results.
