WebApp Show visibility of whole "order" if required (closed lines or not)
Scenario:
As workshop users are disconnected from detail of purchase orders, work orders, or transfer requests, they easily can get confused if paperwork received includes additional lines which are not visible at all in the WebApp. There is no way to tell if something is 'missing' legitimately or just a closed line item on the order. The issue is specifically related to steps on the work order. If step one is complete, it is not able to be viewed/confirmed.
Another example is if users are using barcodes to scan the next routing step, and for any reason lose track of which step, it can be confusing to understand why a barcode scan is returning nothing when scanning. There is no feedback to the user to advise that this line is closed or completed.
Suggestion:
Alike with other configuration settings, it would be useful to allow workshop users who are not positioned infront of a desktop computer the ability to search work orders steps in full, or full purchase orders lines however indicate closed ones via greying out or by indicator/flag. If this could be done by configuration settings by exception then this would be excellent.
Alternatively, at least validating that the line exists and is closed would be a minimum prompt to the user to relieve any confusion.
