  Not a bad idea (never thought of it) :-) Tricky part will be to get all the specific Ids of the Authorizations (SAP is poor at keeping their lists up to date, but guess it could support the most common Authorizations first and slowly expand.

  Great:) it can save a lot of time When changing a specific authorization for users from different departments.
