We all have many many tenants/database with so much B1UP or P&D configuration that we can become lost, especially if the config has been performed by a colleague and you need to pick up from him/her.
What if there was a tool/utility which would scan through all the configurations, sections at a time, so let say you had 20-30 Universal Functions, you weren't sure what each UF does and where each UF is deployed, you run the tool and it produces a report, detailing as best it can what the UF does and which areas of SAP they are in and if the UF are configured correctly, no errors in the SQL script.
Section 2 - P&D the utility runs against this area and tells you what report action is configured, do these reports work, if not, why not, are there missing crystal reports configured?, does the database connection work, sa and password? and the SMTP details are not working. Have schedule reports been processed and ran, have they been delivered?
Basically, this tool/utility would detail your configuration and validate each section identifying issues.
