MRP and merged work orders

When working with Sales Order to Production Order and using the Merge option, Work Orders for "like" items are merged together and all produced items are incorporated into a single document making use of "byproduct" functionality.  However, MRP is recognizing both the demand from the originating Sales Orders (drill down into sales item BOM) as well as the newly created "merged" WO, essentially duplicating demand for BOM items.
