Price List Synchronisation
RespondidaHi,
I would like to propose an enhancement for a future release of the Boyum Intercompany addon. In addition to the existing features, please consider adding a function to sync pricelists between companies to ensure consistency and efficiency across multiple entities.
The synchronisation should work on a Master-Subsidiary model, where a selected pricelist in the master database serves as the main source. Any updates or changes made to this master pricelist should automatically update the corresponding pricelists in the subsidiary companies. The sync should be one-way, meaning updates should flow only from the master to the subsidiaries, preventing changes made in the subsidiary pricelists from being sent back to the master database.
Implementing this feature would improve consistency by maintaining uniform pricing across all companies, enhance efficiency by reducing manual work and potential errors, and provide control by ensuring that the master pricelist remains the single source of pricing truth.
Please let us know if this enhancement can be considered for a future release.
Thank you!
Cansu

Thank you for sharing your feature request with us. We appreciate your feedback and your input in helping us improve our solutions.
At this time, this feature is not yet planned for development. However, we will consider it as we gather additional input from other partners and customers to assess the overall demand and impact.
We encourage you to stay connected with us, and we will keep you informed if there are any updates regarding this request. -
Hello Cansu,
thank you for your input.
As a "workaround" this is already working. When the pricelists are mapped and the item is flagged as "IC Sync" you can also select the prices for the sync. This will sync the price from the HQ to the subsidiary.
Of course this is also working if you just update the pricelist and not the item itself.
If a pricelist is not mapped, the pricelist will not get updated.
Don't hesitate to contact me, if you want to have a short chat about it.
Best Regards,
Julian

Hi Julian,
I tested the workaround you suggested and, I can confirm that it is copying the price if we assign a price list to an item and update the price on the price list.
However, on the Boyum help portal, it advises differently.
'Clicking on the Auto Map button will automatically map all the rows based by mapping the ids one-to-one (so source database id 1 is mapped to target database id 1 and so on).'
'IMPORTANT: Mapping is not the same as synchronization: changes made to for example pricelists will not be sychronized between databases.'
Thanks,
Cansu
