Can B1Utils create a UID

Hi

I would like to know if a UF macro can be used to create a UID on the sales order with the Set command i have tried the below but SAP seems not be beable to run the SQL, is this the case?

SET($[$14.0.0]|SQL: SELECT NEWID())

  Hello James, 

  The ID's are created by SAP automatically or by B1UP in case it is an B1UP object. You can't create new ones with SQL conditions or macros. =(
