Mass updating the marketing documents..

HI All,

Is it possible to change multiple sales orders for fields like Delivery date and other fields using the line loop concept in Universal function?

We have multiple sales orders grouped based on a UDF and as the sales process go forward we need to change some fields of the orders which we do manually now.I know the possibility of doing this in DTW but it would be feasible if i could just change it using BOYUM.

 

Has anyone done similar customization? I have created a button in a sales order when clicked it shows all other orders under that particular UDF. I was wondering if i can line loop through these orders and a MACRO to set the delivery date transferred from this order.

  Hi Anjana,

  There is a module called Master Data Manager which is a tool that allows you to modify common data on existing Business Partners / Documents and more... in the currently logged in database.

  Please see 'Document Master Data Manager' (Click F1 for help) > Select Sales Order > Modify the condition based on the query relying on the UDF value > Send the value for the fields needed to be updated and click execute.

  Tip: please backup the database prior to an update of this nature.

  We have master data manager to mass update business partners and Items... but do we have something specific to marketing documents? could not find any information regarding it:-(
