stable production process
Many companies operate in shifts. In various shifts, there are no supervisors available, yet the employee must still be able to carry out their work.
It must be ensured that production workers can complete their processes, as otherwise the goods will be processed further without any goods posting.
For example:
Bill of materials has an open order assignment (or other linked documents).
Subcontracted operation has an open order.
In both cases, closing must be possible. In this case, it should be asked (possibly depending on a setting) whether to continue despite the open order.
However, these questions generally have no impact. Production workers often cannot do anything with them. Therefore, the associated document should be closed directly depending on a setting.
Similarly, it should be for deletion operations:
In mechanical engineering, there are often significant changes. Deleting bill of material positions is a daily routine here.
If associated documents exist, then after a safety question, the assignment should be deleted or the document closed.
