Using Dynamic Syntax in Dynamic Code Respondida

Hi,

 

I have been trying to find info on this, but how can I use Dynamic Syntax (to reference a field value for example) in Dynamic Code?

I know I can use form.items etc... but it's long-winded and not as easy to adjust.

The screen suggests I can use Dynamic Syntax by saying it's not supported for use in a schedule - but I'm not using in a schedule.

How do I enter it in Dynamic Code?

    Hi Daniel,

    Unfortunately that's not possible. You need to use UI-API in order to get the values.

    Thanks so much for replying. I would just like to clarify, if "dynamic syntax" cannot be used in Dynamic Code then, looking at the above screen-shot, why does it say "dynamic syntax" cannot be used if scheduling?

    This implies, does it not, that when not scheduling you can use "dynamic syntax"?
