Valid values on item placement - sql query length limitation Completada
Using SQL query in item placement tool valid values is a useful feature, but the field is limited in length so more complex queries cannot be entered here - can the field length on the valid values column of item placement please be extended.
Valid values can be triggered in a macro however this is additional configuration and also sometimes troublesome to get working with the correct validation trigger i.e. sales opportunities that only allow the card code to be populated before anything else on the screen can be accessed. meaning you must put the trigger on field validation / lost focus but also on switch to find etc

Added to internal todo but not yet planned
Possible workaround is to create a SQL VIEW and use that VIEW in Valid Values :)
