8096.-Rounding quantity production entry with external operations and conversion factor
RespondidaIf the inventory unit of measure has decimal places less than the standard SAP Business One quantity. For example, SAP Business One has 4 decimal places for quantity and the production item have 0 decimal places because it's is manufactured by unit. BeAS should round que produced quantity by the BeAS unit of measure decimal places. This case is necessary when use factor conversion and external operations.

Hi,
the beas measurement decimal places is only for view, not rounding. beas ignore the settings from SAP B1 in the production area. Only for all material transaction beas works with SAP Rounding system.
If you need another rounding for a bill of material position, you can set the rounding directly in the bom position

-
Hi, Martin the problem it's not de line of bill of material. The problem is the parent item, the produced item.
-
Hi,
Could you provide an example with screenshot about what you mean, please ?
-
BeAS version:
The item 10552 is defined by the unit of measure “UD” as the image shows.

And the unit “UD” don’t have decimals as the image shows.

The item doesn’t have any bill of materials as the image show.

The item only has route with external production.

The last operation (30) has a factor of 17,088170 as the image show.

BeAS is configured to input item in the last operation register.

The problem is than the produced quantity doesn’t round to 0 decimals. The produced quantity just multiply the las operation quantity by the receipt quantity without rounding, so the produced quantity has decimal has the image shows.

146.3 x 17.088170 = 2499.9993
The customer hash 4 decimal places in quantity.

Hi
We are checking because looks like an error
-
Hi
Something new about it?
-
Dear Customer,
Currently beas is using rounding for views. this is as beas is working. At the first quarter of the next year we are going to evaluate if it is possible improve the system including the rounding at the result that is save at the table also on SAP documents, however this is a big change because this function is used in many places on beas, that's the reason why it is not a simple correction or change.
Best regards,
Ana Bracho
