Map form for dynamic syntax

Good evening,

We are trying to use the example for a due date reminder. We are slowly working through this as we are on hana and also want to use the print and delivery template to be attached to the email, neither covered directly in the article.

One thing that does puzzle us is that the article calls for us to 'map form for dynamic syntax'. We don't get this option when right clicking the form. Has the need to do this been removed or is there something else, which we are missing?

  Hello Adam,

  In this case, the example works in HANA, the things that you need to change are the SQL conditions to HANA syntax. As you can see in the example there are SQL conditions in the Mass Delivery configuration and in the body of the email (Report action).

  The option for mapping the Dynamic Syntax will appear if you select a Business Partner in your screen, it means that you need to be in OK mode.

  Hello Boyum,

   

  I am also having an issue with the instructions for mapping the form for dynamic syntax. Like Adam I'm also on HANA.

  I open the Business Partner form and select a Business Partner so the form is in OK mode. When I right click I see the following:

  

  There is no "Map form for dynamic syntax" option!

  A point of note is that the form in the instructions does not appear to be the same as the Business Partner Form I see.

  Could someone please clarify this step?

  Hello Richard,

  You need to make sure you aleady created the Mass Delivery Configuration correctly or you won't see this option.
