validating a cell in a grid

 I want a B1 Validation on a specific cell in a sales order line item grid.  To set it up, I need to define the Form = 139.  The 'Item' I believe is '38' because that is the grid.  The column is a user defined field U_DCMLine.  That is the cell I want to execute a universal function when I lose focus on that cell.  It would call he UF and either block the move to the next cell or not.  If it blocks, the user has no choice but to read the message and fix the problem.

Is this the correct setup for this 'cell' validation?

  Yes, you're correct. Just select the event "Validate" and of course add your condition. Here is an example:
