The Report menu item offer you different and powerful ways to generate reports of your plan. Tabular reports can be produced in Excel and PDF format, and you can also print the Gantt chart itself.
Excel reports
Click the X icon here to export a selection of parameters into Excel for further analysis.
The Report modal will be displayed, where first you need to select the type of report you want to generate from the dropdown in the top left corner.
In our example, we have selected a task-level report. As a result, we get a table of all the tasks (operations) with their parameters.
To export the whole table or selected rows into Excel, click the icon highlighted by the red frame above, and pick your option.
You can also drag and drop a column header of the table under the report type dropdown and thus group the items in the table by that field. Below, we have used the Task Name field for this purpose.
PDF job reports
Click the second icon under the Report menu item to generate a PDF file of the key characteristics of your jobs (production orders), including
- job details,
- routing,
- task (operation) details and
- hyperlinks.
These four options can be specified in a multiselect field on top of the modal that pops up. You can also select the paper size for printing. The report can include all jobs or just the ones you select by ticking the corresponding checkboxes.
When you are done with specification, click the print button at the bottom to generate the PDF.
Printing your Gantt chart
Click the printer icon to generate a PDF file that you can use to print the Gantt chart as it appears on your screen. Make your selections in the Export to PDF modal that pops up, then press the Export button to create your file.
