Settings - Job sequence number calculation

On the sixth (Job Seq. # Calculation) tab of the Settings modal, you can specify rules how to change the sequence numbers of the jobs (production orders) in your plan.

By default, when you import production orders from SAP Business One, they will be displayed in ascending order of their production order numbers (=document numbers) in your Gantt chart. However, you can override this order by the rules specified on the above tab. The conditions are set by picking job fields and corresponding values. Our example assigns sequence numbers 1 and 2 to the jobs that are for customers C40000 and C20000, respectively.

To actually impose the new sequence numbers, go to the Update menu item and click the Recalculate job sequence numbers icon.

This will rearrange the jobs (production orders) in your plan to reflect the calculation rule.

By default, the Recalculate job sequence numbers icon is inactive. It is activated only when you specify a new calculation rule.
