Transaction processing if your ERP system is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

When a booking is registered on an operation in Produce / Operator, the data is transferred to your ERP system.

The completed booking triggers the following ledger entries in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central:

• Item ledger entry (type Consumption), if materials are used in the operation.
• Capacity ledger entry, if resources are used in the operation.
• Item ledger entry (type Output) is only registered when the last operation of the production order is booked.

Materials are booked individually, while resources and products are booked together.

Successful ledger entries are stored in Business Central.

Scrap products are booked as scrap quantity in the capacity ledger entry.

The operator is not affected, since the Produce / Operator booking is always registered, regardless of the ERP transaction status.
