When a booking is registered on an operation in Produce / Operator, the data is transferred to your ERP system.
The completed booking triggers the following transactions in SAP Business One:
- Material issue, if materials are used in the operation.
- Resource time issue, if resources are used in the operation.
- Product receipt is only registered when the last operation of the production order is booked.
The transactions are performed in the order specified above. Successful receipts and issues are stored in SAP Business One.
Receipts of scrap products are booked in the scrap warehouse defined by the Scrap warehouse setting in Produce / Manager.
The operator is not affected, since the Produce / Operator booking is always registered, regardless of the SAP Business One transactions.
Netronic Manufacturing uses the standard SAP Business One default bin location settings (defined on item, item group or warehouse level) when receiving products.
If a transaction unsuccessful, it is retried 3 more times with a time delay of 5, 15 and 45 minutes subsequently. If it still cannot be completed after the last try, the problem is reported and must be corrected by the production manager in Produce / Manager.
Batches and serial numbers are automatically generated by Netronic Manufacturing for products that are managed by batches or serial numbers on every transaction in SAP Business One. In that case, Netronic Manufacturing uses the following format:
- Batches: NM- <Production order number>
- Serial numbers: NM- <Production order number> - <Counter>
