FAQ:
Q: When should I include the Event logs in a Support Ticket?
A: It can never hurt to include them and since we often ask for them, we recommend you include them in all Support Tickets
Q: Is the Eventlogs user-specific?
A: For the Add-ons; Yes (meaning you need to be logged in with same Windows User as the person that got the error to retrieve the log). For the server Components, the logs are shared.
Q: What about the SAP Evenlogs and/or crash logs
A: These logs are never relevant for us as we do not write to them and bring us no value
Q: You say you do not write to SAP Logs but you are mentioned in them
A: Correct, but that is the DI-API generating those entries, we will at no point write ourselves to these logs
Q: Can you help with SAP Logs?
A: No, only SAP support can work with these logs, so if you have any questions for these logs then please address them with SAP Support directly
Appendix: Locating event logs on SAP B1 Cloud
Since SAP B1 Cloud does not allow add-ons to work with the %appdata% folder the Eventlogs and files are instead stored in the CCC User-folders.
So everything is the same as above except you need to locate the root-folder un the CCC User folder instead of %appdata%
