CRM for Outlook hotfix for direct client connections not working Kasper Bergh Østergaard September 28, 2017 12:07 Updated In CRM for Outlook 1.0.57 through 1.0.59 a bug was present that could prevent the server module from allowing direct connections from clients (self-hosting), instead forcing them to connect through the cloud. This can result in degraded performance for the individual user, and cause a loss of stability for the server module. To fix this issue we strongly recommend you update to the latest version of CRM for Outlook or at the very least to version 1.0.61, which can be found here: Server: http://www.b1crmforoutlook.com/Server_1.0.61.zipClient: http://www.b1crmforoutlook.com/Client_1.0.61.zip If upgrading isn't an option at the moment a hotfix is available here. Just copy the Microsoft.Owin.Host.HttpListener.dll file into the install folder of CRM for Outlook Server (C:\Program Files (x86)\Boyum IT\CRM for Outlook Server), and restart the server to enable self-hosting once more. NB: Also please open port 8890 in the windows firewall for incoming local network trafic in order to take advantage of direct connections CRMfO_Self_Hosting_Hotfix_v57-59.zip 40 KB Download Related articles B1UP 2020.08 is now released CRM for Outlook – FAQ (Server) Errors around Numbering series in CRM for Outlook and how to fix them Known issue: CRM for Outlook throws an error during startup Bank of Australia - TLS 1.2 issue
